Rob,
Driving back from Minnesota where we spent the summer, Jean and I just spent six days at our new Steamboat house. I have to tell you, you built a magnificent house. I really appreciate the time, effort, and thought you put into the project. I can still see the three of us looking over the many stained boards you painstakingly collected at the back of your truck to determine final colors. The completed house is a testament to your skill, passion, and vision to build a house that so perfectly blends into the landscape. If there is a more beautiful home in Steamboat Springs, I have yet to see it.
I want to express my appreciation, admiration, and gratitude for your work and what you have built. It’s more than a completed construction project. It’s a feast for the eyes and a work of art. I love looking at it from a distance as much as I do staying in it. Not many people, even those in houses more expensive and grandiose, must have the satisfaction that I experience.
Sincerely,
Dave Bender
